1. Using the service
By using these services, you agree to these terms. If you use them for a business, you must have authority to act for that business. Social Studio is for authorised adult operators managing accounts they own or have permission to manage.

2. Enquiries, previews and paid work
An enquiry or private preview does not commit you to buy. Paid work starts only when we agree the scope and commercial terms with you. Your accepted proposal or service agreement sets out deliverables, payment, revisions, hosting, renewals and any cancellation or refund arrangements. If it conflicts with these general terms, that specific agreement governs the relevant project.
Preview designs are for your evaluation. Check your business details, prices, images, contact information and any claims before approving publication. Tell us about anything that needs correction.
3. Your materials and our designs
You retain your rights in materials you provide. You give Makinah permission to use those materials as necessary to prepare and deliver the services you request. You must have the rights or permissions needed for materials you supply or ask us to publish.
Makinah's branding, website content and design materials remain protected by their applicable intellectual-property rights. Ownership and licences for commissioned work are governed by the project agreement. Third-party assets remain subject to their own licences. A preview does not by itself transfer ownership.
We seek permission before featuring client work as a public case study. Designs labelled as fictional concepts are demonstrations, not endorsements by real businesses.
4. Connected social accounts
Connect only accounts and publishing destinations you are authorised to manage. The platform's permission screen explains the access being requested. You are responsible for selecting the correct destination and reviewing the content and publishing settings you approve.
Social Studio can prepare, schedule and publish content through supported platform APIs. Enabling automatic publishing authorises posts within the settings you choose. Disconnect an account or disable publishing to stop future use through that connection. Already submitted or published posts may need to be managed directly on the destination platform.
Protect your operator access and developer credentials, and notify us promptly if you suspect misuse. Do not use the service for unlawful content, misleading claims, impersonation, spam, infringement or attempts to bypass platform restrictions.
5. Platform terms and availability
Connected services are also governed by their own terms and policies. Social Studio uses YouTube API Services. By using its YouTube features, you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. Google's handling of information is described in the Google Privacy Policy.
Platforms may require verification, limit API access, restrict visibility, reject posts or change their services. We cannot guarantee a publishing time, uninterrupted availability, audience reach, search ranking or business outcome. We will work to address faults within the service we control.
6. Acceptable use and suspension
Do not interfere with the service, attempt unauthorised access, expose another person's credentials or upload harmful software. We may restrict access where reasonably necessary to protect the service, investigate misuse or meet legal or platform requirements. Where practicable, we will explain the issue and how it can be resolved.
7. Responsibility and disputes
Each party remains responsible for its own actions and obligations under applicable law and any agreed project contract. Nothing in these terms excludes rights, remedies or responsibilities that cannot lawfully be excluded.
If something goes wrong, contact us with the relevant project or account details so we can investigate and try to resolve it. Do not include passwords or access tokens.
8. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the service develops. The effective date above identifies the current version. Changes do not retrospectively replace agreed project terms. If a material change requires your agreement, we will request it.
